If at first…there’s a reason this is such a popular proverb. Which is why I’m still here typing my second blog post for my new crochet business. My first class scheduled earlier this month didn’t make. So that wasn’t very encouraging, but here I am, trying again as the saying goes. After all, I have no where to go but up from here. Nobody ever said it would be easy, and combining my experience as a teacher and my passion for crocheting seems like such a natural fit, I feel confident that it will be successful once I find the right venues and like minded people. Either way, I don’t believe in failure. Every experience teaches us something, so it’s never wasted time. Which is why another popular saying is one that’s always guided me, “Nothing ventured, nothing gained.” Has anyone else tried to start their own business? What have you learned from your experience?
